Service Disruption Update: Walkerton Watermain Break Resolved
The watermain break on Ridout Street has been successfully repaired and water service has been restored to normal. Residents on the Walkerton Water System may now resume normal water use.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience while crews worked to address the issue.
There were no concerns with the safety or quality of the drinking water system as a result of this incident.
We appreciate the efforts of our crews and the cooperation of residents during this time.
The Municipality is implementing a single-source organics (Green Bin) composting program this Fall. Walkerton residents that currently receive curbside collection are invited to register to receive a free Green Bin!
