Agri-Business

Bruce County, which includes the Municipality of Brockton, has long been an agricultural powerhouse. Cattle and dairy farms, alongside cash crops, make up the majority of agricultural land in Brockton. Protecting farmland and promoting farm business opportunities is a challenge we embrace.

If we plan successfully, Brockton will continue to serve as a place where future generations of farmers will prosper. Our agricultural lands are the foundation for the local food economy, agri-food exports and economic prosperity.

Local food producers looking to expand have a home in Brockton. To learn more about our healthy agricultural community contact our Economic Development Department, which includes our Community Development Coordinator, Christine Brandt.
