The preschool years are crucial to the healthy growth and development of your child. All experiences a child has, both in and out of the home, influence a child's growth and development.

At the Brockton Child Care Centre our goal is to provide an environment where each child has the opportunity to experience social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.

We know that play is an important way to support all areas of each child's development.

Our staff works to:

• understand and guide the child's behaviour
• broaden the child's experiences through planned learning which suits the needs of the child
• encourage participation in a wide range of activities, both as an individual and as part of a group
• support all areas of development through play
• help children reach their highest potential

The County of Bruce and The County of Grey have implemented a new way to apply for a position on the waiting list. The One List Bruce County is an online child care application system that simplifies the process of finding and applying to child care. You must create an account to register on a waiting list at Brockton Child Care Centre. Once the account is activated, you provide your information and place your name on our waiting list. Once a space comes available you will be contacted. 

Our Centre is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education which means we must meet all regulations in the Child Care and Early Years Act. The 2024 Child Care Centre Licensing Manual is available to view on the Province of Ontario's website.
