This program consists of full day care (over 4 1/2 hours). Children in this group spend time with puzzles, books, dramatic play, arts/crafts, circle and outside time as well as a wide variety of shelf toys. This program has more structure than our Toddler program, but our main emphasis is still on providing a relaxed and easy going atmosphere.

More emphasis is placed on school readiness in this group, but our main aim is still a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The Brockton Child Care Centre offers a Resource Program. This Program is run in conjunction with Bruce County Social Services. The County provides the Resource Consultant who in turn provides support and programming to the Child Care teachers who works daily with the children. This program also includes references for parents. We have many games, toys, books and more to aid parents with parenting. Please feel free to talk to the Resource Consultant or any Staff member about borrowing materials.
