Fire and Emergency Services
In Brockton, the Fire Chief is responsible for delivering fire protection.
Fire protection services in Brockton are provided by approximately sixty (60) firefighters from our two (2) stations in Walkerton and Elmwood, as well as Fire Protection Agreements with Hanover and Arran-Elderslie.

The Walkerton Firefighters Association puts on a number of events throughout the community, including sponsoring public skates at the Walkerton Arena, Jr. Firefighter Program, Touch a Truck and Firefighter breakfast events.
