Garbage and Recycling

Managing landfills to deal with household and commercial waste is a significant cost to any municipality and ensuring that anything that can be recycled is diverted from the landfill goes a long way in keeping our landfills open as long as possible. The Municipality of Brockton has a number of programs in place to assist residents in their waste diversion efforts including, multiple recycling programs and a clear bag policy for waste.

We encourage all residents to utilize each of these waste diversion opportunities as needed, which will keep the landfill clear of materials that can be recycled and reused. All of our recycling programs are free to use for Brockton residents.
