Bruce County News Release - Temporary Removal of Crosswalk Ramps at the Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton

Please be advised that Bruce County will be temporarily removing the pedestrian crosswalk ramps at the Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton due to the current severe winter weather event. This measure is to maintain operational effectiveness and ensure public safety on the roadway. The severe weather event is expected to start on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and the ramps will be reinstalled once normal operations resume. The crosswalk will remain in place and users are to use caution during this significant weather event.
