Council Meeting Highlights - April 22, 2025

  • Veolia Water Canada Inc. presented the 2024 Annual Water and Wastewater Reports for the Municipality.
  • Tenders were accepted for surface reconstruction (paving) and grass cutting.
  • Dinner on Durham, Holmdale Pro Rodeo, and Walkerton Homecoming 2026 were declared as municipally significant events.
  • W.T. Land CORP and W.T. Land LP were approved for funding under the Tax Increment Equivalent Fund Program.
  • Council received information on the incoming Strong Mayors Powers impacting a number of municipalities.

  • The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Council Chambers (30 Park Street, Walkerton) and electronically on Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's Agenda Management Software, eSCRIBE.

Brockton Council meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.
