Adopt a Road

We encourage Brockton residents to play a part in keeping our Municipal Road System clean and free of litter through our Adopt a Road Program.

Individuals, private businesses, or local organizations may choose to volunteer to adopt a municipal road and agree to pick up litter a minimum of three (3) times a year.

Roadways may be adopted in the name of a business or service club, or may be adopted in honour, or in memory, of an individual.

Please review our Brockton Adopt a Highway Program Agreement for more information.

Those who wish to participate in the Adopt a Road Program are encouraged to contact the Municipal Executive Coordinator to confirm if the road wishing to be adopted is available. Ordering the signs are the responsibility of the individual, business or local organization adopting the roadway, at their cost. The Municipality will install the signs and maintain them.
